Fishing and Fish Industry

LSM Pumps has for many years supplied large pumps, such as the LSM-100, LSM-125, LSM-150, and LSM-200, to the fish industry worldwide, mostly in the Nordic countries like Poland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Iceland. In these countries, the fish industry is growing rapidly, and more and more factories are being built.
We have also supplied fish pumps to Chile, Peru, South Africa, Newfoundland, and Morocco.

LSM provides solutions for both large and small projects and has partners who can assist with water separators, sorting systems, and plate freezers.

From ship to truck

We deliver pumps used to transfer fish from large ships into big trucks, which are then transported long distances or delivered to fish processing plants.

From ship to fish factory

In some cases, the fish factory is located at the harbor, and here the LSM pump is used to pump fish from the ship directly to the factory, where the fish is pumped into sorting systems and then into large plate freezers.

The pump can also be installed on a ship, where it is used to unload the fish from the vessel to the shore. This way, the fisherman is not dependent on the equipment at the harbor and can sail to any harbor, as the pump is located on the boat itself.

In Poland, fish are pumped directly from the nets out at sea into the boat. When docked, the pump can then be used to unload the fish into the harbor.
