This depends greatly on the application, as the amount each farmer needs to pump — and what exactly they are pumping — can vary significantly.
Slurry Pumps
We typically pump slurry, which often contains a lot of sand and is very viscous. This poses no problem for an LSM slurry pump, as it both pushes and pulls the material through the hose inside the pump. This means the slurry never comes into contact with any moving parts.
We can pump the slurry from a pre-tank to a storage tank.
In many cases, the distance between the pre-tank and the storage tank is quite long, so the slurry must be pumped over very long distances. The longest distance we've pumped is 1.5 km using only a 4 kW motor, making LSM pumps highly energy-efficient.
LSM Pumps also has experience in seed treatment, where we pump seed coating agents to protect the seeds.
We can also pump molasses at animal feed factories.
If the slurry is very dry, we can also supply screws and agitators for the tank.
