The smaller LSM pump models are most often chosen for their dosing capabilities. For the LSM-40, the dosing features take a bit of a backseat, and this model is more frequently selected for its ability to pump/move the medium. Depending on the composition and type of medium, the LSM-40 can handle up to 4 m³/hour. However, we recommend configuring it around 3.3 m³/hour for more optimal wear on the pump components.

In an LSM hose pump, the only contact surface with the medium is the rubber hose, which can also be supplied as food-grade approved.
