LSM Pumps is also active in the agricultural industry. We have supplied a large number of pumps to various farmers across Denmark. The LSM pump is an excellent product for exactly this type of task.

The most commonly used models are the LSM-65, LSM-80, LSM-100, and LSM-125, depending heavily on the specific job – as both the volume and the type of material being pumped can vary greatly from one farmer to another.

We typically pump slurry, which often contains a lot of sand and is highly viscous. This is not a problem for an LSM slurry pump, as the pump pushes and pulls the slurry through the hose, meaning the slurry never comes into contact with any moving parts.

One of the typical applications is pumping slurry from a pre-tank to a storage tank. In many cases, the distance between these tanks is considerable, requiring the slurry to be pumped over long distances. The longest distance we have pumped is 1.5 km using just a 4 kW motor, which is a testament to the energy efficiency of LSM pumps.

LSM Pumps also has experience in seed treatment, where we pump dressing agents to protect the grains. We can also pump molasses at feed production facilities.

In cases where the slurry is particularly dry, we can also supply augers and agitators for the tank.
